The app transforms your device into a transportable VoIP handset with a laptop so you can make and receive calls from your virtual number whenever you need it. Using the PC or MAC extension eliminates the need to buy additional hardware such as a VoIP phone and will save you money in the long run. To do so, you will need to make sure you have Google Chrome installed on your desktop device for the app to work. If you want to use the ‘click to dial’ feature you will also need the Virtual Landline chrome extension, found here.

Navigating

Once logged in you should receive a pop up bar asking if you would like notifications of instant messages and incoming calls, this may be a handy feature if you are occasionally away from you PC and need alerting.

The simple layout makes it clear and easy to navigate. Contacts, VoIP keypad, call history, call recordings, and the Virtual Landline website can all be accessed from the navigation bar on the left with a small section for recent activity. The search bar at the top makes it quick and easy to find your contacts and makes conducting your business calls even simpler.
