Whisper Tone

Whisper tone is a short message that is played (to you only) to indicate that you are receiving a call from your Virtual Landline number. This way you can both see who is calling (from the caller ID) and know that they have dialled your Virtual Landline and you'll be able to answer the call accordingly, knowing it's probably a business call.  

When you pick up a call, you will hear the message ‘This is a call from Virtual Landline.’ If you do not wish to accept the call simply hang up before the end of the ‘whisper tone.’

Whisper Tone is played only to the person who answers the call and not to the caller. The caller just hears ringing as usual until the call is answered. To activate Whisper Tone you need to subscribe first. For active Virtual Landline customers, please log into your online account.

Auto-Attendant

Auto-attendant is a professional ‘Welcome Message’ played to your customers and allowing them to choose from different options. A typical Auto-attendant message sounds like “Welcome to 'myCompanyName, please press 1 for Sales, 2 for Accounts or 3 for Technical Support.”

You can configure up to 3 menu options, but you will need to provide us with the number to which each option must be connected

You can also choose to redirect your calls to voicemail if the call is received out of office hours

Time of Day Routing

Time of Day Routing allows you to specify the time or day when the incoming calls will be routed to specific numbers or devices.

Put simply, this means that if you want to establish working hours for your business calls, with Time Of Day routing you can control the hours and days when to receive Virtual Landline calls or play an Out-of-Hours message or even divert calls to your home number or call handling service.

Simultaneous Ringing

Simultaneous ringing allows you to forward your calls to up to 5 different numbers which will all ring at the same time. Whoever is the first to pick up gets the call. 

Simultaneous Ringing is part of the Office Pack and Office Pro Pack and cannot be purchased separately.

To enable Simultaneous Ringing you must be logged in to the online portal. Go to the settings tab in your online portal and enable the Button that says Simultaneous Ringing

Office Pro-Pack

Office Pro-Pack is a multi-feature that includes Whisper Tone, Simultaneous Ringing, Auto-Attendant and Time Of Day Routing.  

It's ideal for business use as it combines the essential business phone features at the price of £5. 

By getting the Office Pro-Pack bundle you don't need to pay £20 setup fee for Auto-Attendant, only the monthly price of £5.
