What’s New With Virtual Landline App?

Are you sick and tired of always having to have an internet connection to conduct your business calls? Well, with our new GSM feature we can ease your stress. Now allowing you to make and receive calls simply over your mobile network.

Previously calls relied on internet connection and so worked only on Wi-Fi and 3G/4G, if you didn’t have a reliable data connection, then the App wouldn’t work properly, and the call quality could suffer. VOIP worked by sending the call as data packets via the internet and although it is effective and still an option, the GSM feature adds a whole new level of accessibility for virtual landline clients and removes the difficulty of finding constant strong internet connection.

Provider Issues

Occasionally providers block certain calls that appear as one-way audio due to the VoIP set up. To avoid this issue we recommend you call the mobile service provider and explain the issue, if further help is needed then contact this number – ( +44 (0) 203 488 0088 )

Top Tips For Efficient Use:

  •  The app isn’t necessary if you don’t need to make outbound calls, however, it is extremely useful as it turns your chosen device into a portable VoIP phone and will show your virtual number as caller ID allowing you to distinguish between personal and business.
  •  The app can be used abroad, with our top range package offering free inbound calls over Wi-Fi. Outbound charges can be found on our ‘find a rate’ page, inbound calls over GSM may vary depending on your provider contract.
  •  When on a call on your chosen device, be aware of your bandwidth limitations. If the connection isn’t the best, then refrain from sending emails and browsing the internet at the same time as it could negatively affect the call quality.
  •  If your call connection seems poor, look at the line quality meter on the app, this can help you locate an area with a stronger connection and once there stay in that area.
  •  The inbound calls can be diverted to any device of your choosing.
  •  The app is available for; Android, IOS, Windows, Apple Mac.
